The truth is, the place is nice and quite clean. The food is delicious and the service is quite good. The only problem I see is: you have to order at the table, and if you're not familiar with Japanese food, it's really difficult to order food from the screen where you have to place your order. I find it complicated. Even so, I really liked the food.

Esperamos volver pronto. Muy recomendable.

A magnificent experience. We went for lunch on a Monday, and there weren't many people. The tables inside have comfortable seats arranged in circles. The decor and lighting are exquisite. A robot brings the dishes that diners order from the electronic tablets placed at each table. We hope to return soon. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious, the presentation was excellent, the staff attentive, and the atmosphere pleasant. The service was a bit slow on a few occasions, but that was because they were packed with people. I don't understand the negative reviews... The price is good, and you can eat until you're full. We'll definitely be back.

The people whining in the comments should know where they're going to eat, how the buffet works, and the quality of the ingredients, period. All they needed to say was that they don't do spherifications and that they don't cut your sashimi at the table... ignorance prevails, arrogance compared to a classic sushi restaurant, and the air of exquisite grandeur some people have at mealtimes. CRAP 😒 Let's get down to it, two of us went to eat, we ate as much as we wanted and more. There are better options and others not so better, but it goes a long way. We went hungry and left super satisfied. 😌 THAT'S THE PURPOSE OF THIS BUSINESS MODEL** I recommend this place because I liked the food 🍣, I liked the atmosphere 🎼, I liked the decor 🪭, and I liked the treatment of the staff who served us 🎎. 10/10 👌🏻 I'm a Local Guide and I work as a Cook. I give it 5 stars 🌟 because it deserves them 😎 We'll definitely be back.

A highly recommended place. Everything we ordered was excellent and at a very good price. In our case, it was the evening menus, which are buffet-style (drinks are separate), so I recommend it to anyone who likes Japanese restaurants or sushi. But in this case, it wasn't just the food, which is the main attraction. It was also the staff. They were quick to seat us at a table when we arrived, and served the food in less than 5 minutes. Everything was great! So, I highly recommend it.

Our first visit to Samo Sushi, and the experience was very good. The waiter explained perfectly how to use the screen on the table to order. We opted for the Samo menu (€16.95 per person, drinks not included), with an initial maximum of five dishes per person (you can always order more later) and the rule that if you leave too much food on your plate, you'll be penalized with a €3 fine (which wasn't our case). Everything was delicious; one drawback: some dishes could have used a little more salt, but it's an easy detail to adjust. I had planned to take photos of all the dishes, but I only did so with the first one… then I got carried away and completely forgot. 😅 The decor is very well-thought-out, and the staff was quick and friendly: you order and your dish arrives at the table almost immediately. It's a blessing to have a restaurant like this in Ponferrada. With the room full, everything ran smoothly. Very good value for money and, as of today, I think it has no competition.
